If you require a subsidy to attend the 2007 Pacific Coast Brain Injury Conference, please submit your completed subsidy application to Janelle Breese Biagioni via fax to 250-592-4431or email to soulwriter@shaw.ca or by regular mail to 2575 Crystalview Dr. Victoria, BC V9B 6M8.  Please note if you are a first-time attendee or how many conferences you have attended in the past. Subsidy requests by first-time attendees receive priority. Individuals and family members with limited resources who have attended previous conferences are also welcome to apply.

NEW ~ Deadline to submit request for subsidy is December 1, 2006.

Applicants will receive notification of subsidy by December 17, 2006.

PLEASE NOTE: Subsidy funds are for conference registration only. It does not include travel, or accommodations. Please contact the Brain Injury Association or Support Group closest to your community for assistance in determining additional or other funding possibilities.

NEWS
Survivors and family members attending the conference are eligible for a DISCOUNTED hotel rate.  Details will be posted at a later date.

SHELDON BERROL SURVIVOR’S SCHOLARSHIP

Applications and nominations for the 2007 Sheldon Berrol Survivor’s Scholarship are now being accepted.  All awards will be presented during the Pacific Coast Brain Injury Conference.
The selection process for applications is based on the following criteria:
The applicant is a survivor of a brain injury;
The applicant resides in British Columbia; and
The applicant is pursuing educational, vocational and/or upgrading goals from a recognized educational or training institution.

The Pacific Coast Brain Injury Conference looks forward to acknowledging this year’s beneficiaries at the 2005 Pacific Coast Brain Injury Conference Luncheon.
